Chugach Commercial Holdings grows energy services portfolio through two Kenai acquisitions

A Strategic Expansion into Alaskan Oilfield Services

Anchorage, AK – Chugach Commercial Holdings (CCH) proudly announces the acquisition of Pollard Wireline, LLC (Wireline) and Alaska E-Line Services, LLC (E-Line), two highly respected Alaskan-owned oilfield service companies specializing in wireline services, completions, and gas lift operations. Both strategic acquisitions underscore CCH’s commitment to expanding its footprint in Alaska’s energy sector while preserving the legacy and operational excellence of two long-standing, reputable companies.

“These acquisitions reflect how we grow at Chugach Commercial Holdings—by investing in strong Alaska-based companies, honoring the legacy they’ve built, and positioning them for long-term success,” said Gwen Welch, President of Chugach Commercial Holdings. “Pollard Wireline and Alaska E-Line bring deep technical expertise, trusted customer relationships, and a shared commitment to operational excellence. We’re proud to welcome their teams and to support their continued growth as part of our energy portfolio.”

Both companies align with CCH’s energy services unit, which includes Chugach Alaska Services, TCC, and Chugach Professional Oilfield Services. These companies provide oil spill and marine casualty response, readiness training, and staffing solutions to Alaska’s oil and gas industry.

Chugach COO Peter Andersen said, “Wireline and E-Line bring a strong performance track record in Alaska’s energy sector, adding both immediate value and long-term growth potential. It’s a meaningful step forward as we strengthen our ability to participate in the state’s growing energy opportunities.”

This strategic acquisition enhances Chugach’s portfolio of commercial operations and expands its presence in Alaska’s vital oil and gas sector. The companies’ longstanding relationships with leading producers position Chugach to capitalize on the state’s renewed focus on oil and gas development and exploration while advancing the corporation’s mission to deliver economic opportunity to Chugach shareholders and communities.

“Our top priority is ensuring that customers continue to receive the outstanding service and reliability they have always counted on,” added Welch. “As they join the Chugach family, both companies will remain independently operated under their current leadership, preserving the local knowledge and relationships that set them apart. We are committed to supporting their teams so customers experience seamless continuity and the same high standards of safety, performance, and responsiveness.”

Together, the companies bring exceptional leaders, more than 160 skilled employees, and a full suite of field-ready assets, including slickline and electric wireline units, and pressure testing equipment. These capabilities complement CCH’s broader strategy to grow shareholder value through diversified business investments in key industries, including energy, industrial, and environmental services.

“We’re proud to join forces with Chugach,  whose values align with ours,” said Wireline and E-Line President Fred Pollard, Jr. “Together, we’re maintaining a strong foundation for oilfield services in Alaska .”
