Commitment to Compliance
Chugach strives to ensure that its websites and applicable digital content conform with the Revised Section 508 Standards and applicable accessibility requirements, including WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which are incorporated by reference into Section 508. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continue to improve the user experience for all visitors by applying relevant accessibility standards to our digital platforms, products, and communications.
Our accessibility efforts include regular testing with automated tools and manual techniques, including keyboard-only navigation and basic screen-reader testing, and we work to remediate issues identified through these reviews as resources allow.
Known Limitations and Ongoing Improvements
While we aim to meet or exceed WCAG 2.2 Level AA, some content may not yet fully conform. In particular, certain legacy PDF documents, older multimedia content, and some third-party plug-ins or embedded tools may not be fully accessible.
Where feasible, we are remediating this content over time, prioritizing high-use and critical information such as key corporate, shareholder, and governance materials. If you need access to specific information that you cannot obtain due to an accessibility barrier, we will make reasonable efforts to provide the content in an accessible alternative format upon request.
Accessibility in Federal Contract Deliverables (CGS)
For federal contracts performed by Chugach Government Solutions (“CGS”), CGS complies with all required Federal or agency accessibility standards as specified in the scope of work for each contract or task order, including Section 508 and the Federal Information Technology Accessibility Initiative. All electronic and information technology (EIT) deliverables produced by CGS—including electronic documents, web-based applications, multimedia, and other digital materials—are developed to meet, at a minimum, all applicable Section 508 technical and functional performance requirements.
Where applicable, CGS may provide accessibility conformance documentation such as a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT®) or equivalent Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) to assist Federal contracting officials and other buyers in assessing the accessibility of commercial EIT products and services.
Third-Party Content
Chugach works to promote accessibility across its digital presence, but some content or functionality provided by third-party platforms or external vendors may not fully conform to accessibility standards. Examples include embedded maps, videos hosted on external platforms, or third-party career and investor tools that we do not control.
We encourage users to report any accessibility barriers associated with third-party content so that we may work with the provider toward remediation or offer an alternative method of access where practical.
