Our Purpose

Chugach Tribal Services (CTS), a vital non-profit affiliate of Chugach Alaska Corporation (Chugach), advances self-determination through programs that move people and communities forward. We create pathways to stable careers through workforce development, expand access to wellness and prevention services, and strengthen local economies with strategies grounded in long-term growth. Our community development efforts build stronger connections, while capacity building equips organizations to lead with confidence.

Every initiative is tied to cultural integrity—the foundation that ensures progress does not come at the expense of identity. By aligning economic strength with cultural values, CTS delivers impact that is measurable today and sustainable for future generations of Indigenous Peoples—particularly of the Chugach People.

Who We Are

Established in 2023, CTS strengthens collaboration among tribes, village corporations, and regional non-profits to secure resources, build capacity, and deliver measurable impact across the Chugach region. Our team blends cultural expertise, program delivery, and grants management to meet community-defined goals.
