Chugach Government Solutions Celebrates the People Who Built Two Decades of Success at Picatinny Arsenal

At the heart of Chugach’s 20‑year legacy at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is one constant: our people. This milestone is first and foremost a celebration of the employees whose dedication, professionalism, and deep sense of community have carried Chugach through three consecutive contracts and over two decades of mission‑support excellence. Their commitment is the reason Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) continues to be the trusted partner that customers at Picatinny rely on year after year.

Consistent performance, dedication, and exceptional leadership are just a few reasons Chugach has had a presence on Picatinny Arsenal, NJ for over 20 years. Since our first contract began in 2005 our team has embodied the Chugach Core Behaviors in their everyday work. As the contract evolved our workforce has remained the cornerstone of our success. Although the team has changed in size over the years, the level of commitment and pride in the mission has only grown stronger.

Project Manager Robert Llewellyn reflected on the team’s long‑standing commitment, sharing, “Our team is comprised of strong and true professionals who perform every day in support of the warfighter and embody the core values of Chugach. The last 20 years has flown by as there are typically no two days the same.” His sentiment echoes the pride and purpose that have shaped the Picatinny team’s identity for two decades.

This milestone is also a testament to the longevity of our partnership with the customer — a relationship built on trust, performance, and the meaningful value our employees create every day.

We are proud to recognize the team members pictured here for their 20 years of service — individuals whose expertise and consistency have made the Chugach presence on Picatinny the contract everyone turns to.

Their collective experience tells a story not just of longevity, but of growth, adaptability, and meaningful contribution.

Jerry Katzenstein, who has supported the contract across all 20 years, shared the simplicity and sincerity that keeps him motivated: “I love it here, very happy with the employment. It keeps me going.” For Karen Marko, the journey has been one of evolving responsibility and unexpected opportunity. “Who would have thought starting with Chugach 20 years ago that I would become someone that people depend on,” she said. “From starting out in finance to my move to DPW and then at one point being utilized in both departments for almost three years… Working for Chugach has never been dull and I’m kind of glad about that! Even though there have been some days that I wish it was, I don’t think I would have it any other way!”
