Chugach Donations Sprint Past $200,000 For AKRFW

On June 6, shining in the sun, Chugach crossed the finish line in first place at the Alaska Run for Women with $14,512, earning the highest donation total in our category and surpassing every team across all categories for the most funds raised by a single team.

This incredible achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our incredible employees, shareholders, business partners, and the entire Chugach community. Thank you, once again, for stepping up, rallying together, and showing the strength, compassion, and heart that define Team Tammy and the entire Chugach family.

Most importantly, thank you for honoring and supporting all of the women who have battled breast cancer, as well as the families, friends, and loved ones who stood beside them every step of the way. Every dollar we raised and every mile we walked and ran brought us closer to the day that will bring an end to cancer.

I want to specifically thank Dee Pletnikoff for running at the front of our pack and for rallying raffle ticket sales; Michael Levshakoff for lighting the team spirit with graphics and photos; and the Chugach Employee Engagement Team for purchasing our team shirts and organizing an amazing campaign from start to finish. Together, this group inspired another AKRFW win and truly made our team stand out on June 6.

The $14,512 raised this year, combined with the more than $186,000 raised over the past decade, pushes Team Tammy beyond the $200,000 milestone, making us the highest fundraising team in the history of the Alaska Run for Women.
