Former Interim President Virginia Robinson will assume Chief Administrative Officer & Chief Legal Officer role

Chugach Government Solutions, LLC (CGS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Chugach Alaska Corporation (Chugach), is pleased to announce the appointment of Laine Klein as President, effective August 4, 2025. She will lead CGS’s diverse portfolio of federal government contracting operations, which encompass facilities management, technology, construction, and education services worldwide.
A seasoned operations executive with more than two decades of experience in the government contracting sector, Klein brings a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, driving strategic growth, and delivering mission-critical support across the defense and intelligence sectors.
“In our search for a new President, we sought a leader with the vision and capability to grow and diversify our government solutions business line,” said Chugach CEO Jonathan Dalrymple. “Laine’s track record in building and scaling customer-centric businesses and deep understanding of both our industry and our customers’ most critical missions make her an ideal leader to navigate Chugach’s next chapter.”
During her 12-year tenure at Amentum (formerly AECOM and URS Corporation), Klein led large-scale organizational transformations, guided multiple acquisitions through successful integration, and expanded the company’s reach across key national security markets. As Senior Vice President of Operations and later Strategy and Growth for the Intelligence and Cyber division, she was instrumental in driving strategic growth, strengthening customer partnerships, and positioning the organization for long-term success.
Known for her collaborative leadership, talent mentorship, and innovation, Klein is well-equipped to lead CGS through its next evolution while fostering a high-performing, mission-driven culture.
“We are thrilled to welcome Laine to the Chugach family,” said COO Peter Andersen. “Laine’s experience, values, and vision align with our strategic goals and our mission to create sustainable value for our shareholders and communities. Her leadership will be instrumental in advancing our portfolio, unifying our employees, and strengthening our partnerships across key sectors.”
“I am honored to join Chugach Government Solutions and be part of an organization known for its integrity, customer-focused mission, and shareholder impact,” said Klein. “I look forward to working hand-in-hand with our 4,000 employees to deliver exceptional results to our customers, and to carry forward the Chugach values that guide everything we do.”
Klein succeeds former CGS Interim President Virginia Robinson, who will continue to serve as a key member of CGS’s executive leadership team in an expanded role as CGS Chief Administrative Officer in addition to her Chief Legal Officer role.
Robinson said, “As Laine steps in, I feel incredibly confident in the future we’re building together. This transition isn’t about stepping aside—it’s about locking arms and moving forward as one team, with shared purpose and trust in each other.”
