Chugach Government Solutions Appoints Laura Nelson as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development

Anchorage, AK — Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Laura Nelson as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. With more than 20 years of government contracting experience and a proven track record in corporate strategic development, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and externally focused go-to-market strategies, Nelson will lead CGS’s efforts to strategically grow its capabilities and deliver greater value to customers.

In this newly created role, Nelson will oversee all aspects of M&A, from market strategy and target identification to integration planning and execution. Nelson’s expertise in harmonizing strategic visions, delivering tactical campaigns, and aligning organizational structure with market opportunities will be instrumental in advancing CGA’s drive to serve customers with innovative, scalable solutions.

Prior to joining Chugach, Nelson served as Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Development at ASRC Federal, where Nelson shaped executive strategy for high-priority business needs, managed complex business transformation projects, and directed M&A transaction discovery and validation phases. Nelson also held growth roles at Lockheed Martin, supporting business development, strategic planning, and financial strategies across civil, defense, and international markets.
