Chugach’s Las Vegas Regional Office (LVRO) embarks on yearlong campaign to assist local charity Safe Nest.
Seizing an opportunity to develop closer ties with the Las Vegas community, the LVRO is expanding its partnership with local charity Safe Nest for a year of donation drives and sponsorship events.
Safe Nest is the largest provider of domestic violence services in Nevada. The organization, which is 41 years old this year, provides emergency shelter, counseling, court preparation and support, and culturally-specific outreach programs within Clark County.
For the first effort of the year, Chugach employees donated toys, toiletries, and much needed baby items, including diapers and wipes. The donation drive was a great success, and we anticipate continued commitment throughout the year. Our plans include drives for clothing, toys at Christmas, and sponsorship of the charity’s major donor event in 2019.
